My best friend Half and Half is out of town. Half and Half is a married Catholic nun. That is why she got the name. She takes in orphans. It is a job that pays nothing, gives her a lot of headaches and a saintly reward in heaven. I could not touch it. I took a singing frog to Anna in day care. She loved it. It is a lobotomized frog on batteries. I told her if she kissed him it will become a very holy priest. Lots of homework to do today. I have been nominated to serve on the board of the infidel. It is a new appointment for me in the diocese. My friend Vern nominated me. I like him. It is the other guy, the bar-o-meter, who might cause problems. Not up front, just in the background. He smirked when I had to introduce myself but he did not know the appointment was coming and it was fun seeing him gasping for air.
