Can a dog pray?

New Jerusalem, my little lap dog, was in bed with me last night and, as usual, I talk to her before I turn off the lights. I told New Jerusalem that she could pray by offering up her little breaths while she was sleeping. New Jersalem fell asleep and for the first time ever started to snore. It was so adorable and hilarious that I was motionless for a while because I did not want to disturb her. She made little fzzz sounds. That was her prayer. I listened for a long time.
