A little boy just came to the door and offered to shovel the snow for a few dollars. "What are a few dollars?" "Two." I could not show him how amused I was. I decent job costs about fifty and I wonder if the saying will apply: one gets what one pays for. If he cuts out a path to walk I will give him five or ten. The dogs went out while it still snowed and New Jerusalem wanted none of it. She looked at it and stayed at the edge of the garage entrance. They did not make her a lap dog for nothing.
p.s. I gave him ten. For a little boy he did remarkably well.
The stock market is sinking like the Titanic. Not a pretty picture but one has to suck it up like so many other things.
Somewhere in the Bible it says God knows what you need. Are you listening God? I need a little chart where the line goes up and not down. I don't mean a blood pressure chart either.
