Sixty-three years ago
Sixty three years ago the Russians entered our home town and we got hit with the revenge. Mass killings, rapings, lootings. No food, no medical care and no home. My brother was 11 at the time. He gets sick every January and he continues to live through it each year. Concentration camps, torture. These are his memories. Some time ago I told someone I came from this area. She was surprised that we had survived. I am, too.
