Despite the rain

Today we had bible class at the Church of the Crucified. It is really a wonderful group and I want to stay part of this group. Then home to my knitting class. We discussed the Big Herod. We usually don't, but I did not want them to hear from others what they should hear from me first hand. Someone told me today that some time ago one of his favorites called her to suggest to her to stay away from me "for her own good." Oh how slick.....I had not heard of this one. The last day or so he is suggesting to another friend that I am accusing him of something he did not do. Funny. Like what? Would I really go to Chucky myself? Whom is he kidding! I do think I put the brakes on things - otherwise he would not see the need to defend himself. Nobody has contacted me from Chucky's office. I don't care if they do or don't - as long as they leave me alone. I feel so free since I wrote the Big Herod.
