Two different kinds of white

The nun and I went to the Third Order hoods today. First we had a chapter meeting and then we prayed in the big church. With all respect to the Holy Spirit, the bowing, back and forth praying and following the Liturgy of the Hour is pretty intimidating for a lay person. It was very nice and the nun loved the praying. Some of the hoods had actually their hoods up as we entered the church. It looked like a Klan meeting because all their hoods were white.
At a small lake this morning I saw hundreds of seagulls flying around, tightly together. It looked like a white cloud going up and going down. They had a rhythm all of their own. Not sure if it was an eating frenzy or some mating orgy. The few poor geese and ducks among them on the ground looked forlorn. I felt like one of those geese or ducks during the Third Order prayers. I must improve my rhythm.....
