I went to the branch office today. Everyone is back from vacation except the branch manager. Someone came in and reported that Mr. Seligman had taken them up on their offer to occupy the chalet in the mountains. Mrs. Fritchley needed to know all the details. Yes, now we know he is going to take his mother along and a friend for the mother. I don't know what to think about the office now. I think the branch will be run by a few office people in the future. It happens so often. It had never happened here but is going to happen now. Our branch manager will be the last to know what is going on in his own branch. If I'd be younger, I'd be an extern at that place with Fr. Wolfgang.
