The Big Herod

I have not heard from the Big Herod any more. Just as well. I heard another story about him. About a year ago, my friend Heloise had a mother in a nursing home who was still sharp as a tack. My friend went on a cruise around New Zealand and while she was gone the Big Herod visited the mother in the nursing home. When the talk came around to the daughter, my friend, the Big Herod said to the mother that he had seen her "yesterday." Well, when my friend came back, the mother did not want to believe she had been in New Zealand and even the pictures of the wild life did not convince the mother. My friend was ticked. Well, the Big Herod knows how to lie but this story made me laugh. Unfortunately, the daughter had to pay the price for the lie.
