The Pastor

The pastor is back from vacation and gave a nice homily this morning. We also had a baptism. The cantor's sister's baby. Cute little girl with lots of black hair. The Deacon did the baptism. The pastor was watching. Two of the angels came in with their companion. I had not seen them for a while. I was told they had been on vacation - whatever that means. I am always glad to see them. I asked the pastor if he was ready for his Chinese lessons. He said he was. Looks like I will be teaching him Chinese. Funny. I am the only one who speaks fluently Chinese over there and the pastor wants to learn. If he is serious, I will put it on his calendar: 1/2 hr each Monday and Wednesday morning.
