Canada

Went this morning to Canada and distributed doughnuts and clothing. A homeless person ran after the car when I left. I did not roll down the window. "God bless you," he shouted. That makes it all worth it. Was almost back over the border when I realized I missed Rabbi Seligman's temple. Back I went. Rabbi Seligman had temple duty today and it was nice being greeted by him. There are six pillars behind him and it came to me that the seventh pillar to make this picture complete is us in the congregation. It was a lovely meditation piece. Actually two families wanted to come with me but decided yesterday that they had soccer practice. I went by myself which I don't mind at all. It was very peaceful and I always come back on a high. Wished I could have talked to Mr. Seligman a little. Now I am off to the Church of Food and Coke and will say my "hello's" and will come back. Not to worry - it is Coke as in Coca Cola but our spiritually is in the fizz and nowhere else. Sad. Fr. Mercy encourages me to leave but there is nowhere to go. I really would like to be in charge of Adult Education somewhere - minus the RCIA stuff. Our Lady of Perpetual Amnesia is in the wrong cluster. Mother Cunigund down the road might get a new pastor and who knows what he will be like. Ode to Joy has a bad reputation. Always had. The Flowers in the Meadow Church has an EPS graduate in charge already. The Church of the Crucified which I like does not have a pastor and will not get one. So? I'll wait until the Lord comes up with a solution and will concentrate on holy friends and holy friendships.
