Christmas Bonus

The branch manager came out and inquired about the Christmas bonus with the bookkeeper. After he left there was a lot of whispering and the gist was that at least some of the volunteers are not getting a Christmas bonus. I guess we won't get any acknowledgement whatsoever. It seems to be a longstanding tradition. I don't think anyone bothered to say "thank you" last year. Why should it change this year?
