Rabbi Seligman

I met a friend this morning for breakfast. We were to meet yesterday for lunch but a headache felled me and, yes, I could feel it, too. Anyway, this morning this friend gave me a bunch of clothing and I had already a heap in my back seat. So, off I went towards Canada by myself. Purchased the doughnuts up there and handed everything out and then went to the temple. It was nice to see Rabbi Seligman. It is always nice to see him. Big push by the Archdiocese to give to the Annual Appeal. I would like to give again. So I wrote a "Dear Chucky" e-mail when I got home. Very nice and polite but asking him if my situation has changed concerning having a Bible Class at home and telling him that as much as I love giving to the Annual Appeal, that decision will depend on his reply. My black hoods and my brown hoods also work for the Glory of God and they also give to the poor and with the exception of the Rabbi Seligman, I don't see many diocesan rabbis living in the spirit of St. Francis. AND the black hoods and the brown hoods treat me decently and Chucky treats me pretty much like dirt. It is all superficially sweet but he is in the pocket of the Big Herod and the Big Herod is a monster. The Glory of God needs to shine both ways.
