Where do we come from?

It depends......Really, I don't care if we came from the apes or a hair brush. It is not interesting to me where we came from but what we BECAME and we became children of God at Baptism. The fossil business does not excite me and when you look at "Lucy" or whatever bones they dug up and keep digging up in the African wilderness, now made over with with plastic and computers to give her or him an expression, you see that these people were little grunts with body hair and uglier than apes. So they stood upright. Big deal. Little upright grunts with body hair and uglier than any ape! Along comes God, gives some semitic looking guys the intelligence to believe in One God, sends his Son to the rest of us lost and demented and voila we are turned inside out. Thanks to chicken McNuggets we eat a protein rich diet, walk upright, and Christ comes to us at Holy Communion. Could not be better. I have condensed the history of mankind somewhat. You get the message, however.
