The computer

The branch manager never did find the laptop that he discarded not knowing it could have been repaired or exchanged at no charge. I went out and bought him a new computer - not a laptop - something very good but not state of the art. So now he can throw coke on it for two years. It is insured. I told him he should not have been so reticent about his coke episode. Could happen to anyone. Told him that if I dealt with the Big Herod I could handle a laptop with coke. I just wanted to make him laugh. Fr. Wolfgang prayed last night for us but some prayers are just not answered. I threw an ad away for a Christmas trip. That made the computer purchase possible. Of course, I did not tell the branch manager.
