This could be the sign for me at our church!
Fr. Fritzie is our new pastor. He is not unpleasant but has not had three personal words for me. He is chummy with Ms. Hitchley and that might explain his attitude towards me because Ms. Hitchley gets a scratch when you mention Steubenville. She makes no bones about it that it is too conservative, too Catholic for her. I, in turn love, Steubenville. At lunch time Fr. Fritzie will make small talk with Ms. Hitchley and then turn to the secretary and make small talk with her and if anyone comes into the room he will say a few nice words towards Ms. or Mrs. Whatever and I sit there and he nicely talks over my head. Today I announced that I will spend another week in Steubenville. Ms. Hitchley was invited to give a sermon today. I want to make sure I won't be there on that Sunday. Fr. Fritzie and Ms. Hitchley also want to get a Capital Campaign going for a separate building. Not with my money. It is so easy not to give to these people. I don't even have any remorse!

The garage
The garage had not been cleaned properly in years. Oh yes, just a few months ago I had hired a teenager to clean it up a little and that is what I got: a little. Now this couple went at it and they threw tons and tons of stuff away and are cleaning and suddenly I have empty shelves. Imagine! We found a brand new ironboard that had never left the cartoon, a complicated snow shovel - brand new - but in pieces in the orginal box, books - new - in a carton and long forgotten, a bench, never out of the box, a ladder, never out of the box. That was just the new stuff. The old stuff went by bag after bag out the door. I can't wait to park the car again AND be able to put my foot out the door.
Taking care of elderly people
I took Fr. Zee to the airport this morning and then went to pick up Fr. Fallalla. Could see from a distance that he was not feeling well. He went to change and I waited for him in the lounge. When he finally reappeared he was in great distress and plopped down on the couch. Had an attack of dizziness and was not feeling well and we just chatted for an hour or so and he went to his room. His nurse told me that he probably overmedicated himself. Not an unreasonable assessment considering he has early Alzheimers. The previous prior of the house was visiting and I had a nice chat with him as well.

Poochie-poochies
Yesterday I cooked. Yep, first time in ages. I had bought shrimp the night before and marinated the shrimp and pan fried the pieces. Deliciooooosus. However, pooch number 3 wanted a piece. Actually he wants always a piece of whatever I eat and so I gave him a shrimp. In no time he wanted the second one. I gave him another one. (I bit the tails off first). Then I saw it. The first one he had tried to eat but threw up under my chair, the second one he dropped. The other pooches did not come near the shrimp. On certain days one should have a cat in the house.

The Blessed Mother
She never fails to impress me. Just as she is full of grace so are we at baptism and when she is taken up body and soul into heaven that is the forshadowing for our body and soul. Can't wait to have lunch with her.
Fr. Zee
Fr. Zee is back into town and the nun and I went yesterday and had lunch with him. We started with Mass, just the three of us, before lunch and it was heavenly. I will be taken him to the airport on Tuesday and then go and take Fr. Fallalla out. Fr. Fallalla's mind is slipping pretty badly but he still enjoys being taken out.

Blacklisted
The Big Cheese Bishop has blacklisted me. Can't have a bible class in my home. You would think I dunn something terrible like nailing a new creed on the church doors but no I had a nice little vindictive priest who got made at me for unspecified rudeness. It was a nice kangaroo court. So be it. Pray for the Big Cheese because with his temperament he will make a nice Archbishop and he will be gone. As you can see I am busy doing other things.
