The Harvest

The cucumber harvest is upon me. I harvested another 8 cucumbers from my garden yesterday. They seem to grow 8 at a time to be picked. I love cucumbers. It will make a delicious salad. Much better than store bought. The tomatoes are huge but not red yet. I also harvested some sweet peas. Winter squash is growing like kudzu. Next year I will plant a cherry tree again. I had a cherry tree years ago and it died suddenly and without warning after providing us with a gigantic supply of cherries. Cherries are very expensive in the store so I will plant a tree again. I have some flowering cherry trees but ornamental cherries do not produce edible fruits.
