Death Watch

I talked to the nurse at Fr. Valhalla's nursing home. Looks like we are on a death watch with Fr. Valhalla. I hope they will let me go over to the hospital and hold his hand for a second. It will be very tough on me. I just finished a big winter shawl for him. He saw it when it was still under construction and loved it and looked forward wearing it this winter. Two unexpected deaths occurred in the area this week. A neighbor boy who had just turned 21 this week climbed on the roof of his house in the middle of the night and apparently fell off and was found dead the next morning. I am going to the viewing tonight. The owner of one of the largest nursery businesses in our county died at age 62.
