What does a happy morning look like?
I went to Rabbi Seligman's temple service this morning. It was so wonderful to be greeted and hugged. Observed some minor nitpicking things (the nitpicking is on my part) but what I saw happens at other temples as well. I watched God in the inner temple afterwards and prayed for Rabbi Seligman. A woman, Ms. Moritzly, wanted to know if Rabbi Seligman was a good "Right to Life Rabbi." That is her committee in the temple. I know Ms. Moritzly from bible classes at the Church of the Crucified and her right to life devotion is wonderful but her political outlook is sort of dimmed. Al Gore invented global warming - according to her. I always thought he invented the Internet but, no, Ms. Moritzly thinks he also invented global warming. So I am a little cautious about Ms. Moritzly. I immediately got an invitation to join her Right to Life Committee - good job, Ms. Moritzly - and how could I say 'no'? Yes, I did tell her that the Rabbi was a Right to Life Rabbi. Never seen a bad one.
