Today I signed up for the bible class at the temple. I have a feeling that it is more a spiritual-growth-twelve-steps-to-heaven kind of class. Nothing wrong with it. If so, there would be room for me to teach a biblical bible class in the future. What annoyed me that they wanted my age. It was a mandatory field! I am getting vain. My birthday they can have but why do they need my age? Of course I gave them the wrong one. I took ten years off. Yep. I was so annoyed and soooo vain. I can just see the Rabbi making a crack remark now.
"Oh, no, Rabbi Seligman....you MUST be mistaken. I am....I am....I am..... thirty-nine." What the heck...taking off a few MORE years is even better.
Of course I did not want to deceive anyone. The mouse just slipped.
Now I am wondering if this is a sin or not.
I should have taking forty years off. Then it would certainly not be a sin.
