Good bye

I said good by to my spiritual director today. He belongs to the black and white hoods. I brought him out today and showed him Los Angeles by the water. He had never seen it. We ate lunch downtown. Unfortunately we had tourist crab cakes. They were not any good. There is a restaurant in a different part of town and it has excellent crab cakes. Unfortunately it is in a strip mall and he wanted to see Los Angeles by the water. The atmosphere was delightful and we watched the national guard of the future march around. I have a military I.D. because mother served and we could go on base. Went to the Catholic Church downtown which he had never seen. We talked about a lot of things but at one one he said that if he was not Catholic he would be Jewish. I could only say Amen to that. Neither one of us wanted to be a Protestant. He also wanted to know how I ended up in the charismatic movement. Now that had a funny history with the pastor over the Seven Flags discerning evil spirits all the time and I got curious what gave people the ability to discern evil spirits. At the Seven Flags church, money had a lot to do with with. Also who liked you. When the inner circle liked you, one had suddenly all sorts of spritual gifts. I think I was sent there to discern bad leadership from good. It is a very charismatic gift.
