Little gifts to give away

In my old parish, the pastor gave away little crosses to people visiting. As soon as the pastor left the parish, the Mrs. Hitchley-Fritchley stopped it. Don't know why because we still had a lot of crosses left years later. I always liked the idea of giving something away to visiting or new parishioners. Yesterday the nun went to listen to one of her former tenants who just happens to be a preaching minister. In his church they also gave away little trinkets and both of us thought that it was a nice gesture. Now I am in a temple with a great Rabbi. Perhaps we could give away something again? Think about it dear Rabbi Seligmann: a scroll with seven seals? A vial of Holy Water? A bag of sea water from the Pacific? A salmon? A small beer barrel? The possibilities are endless.
