Breakfast and the rest

I took a younger woman to breakfast this morning. They are thinking of setting up something similar to what we had on Wednesday nights at the Temple of  Yellow. I told her about the program, why it worked rather well.
Don't set up a program that is continous so that people who miss an evening feel they missed something in the continuity and think they cannot come back.
Mix social, bible trivia and fun lectures. Get speakers who don't put you to sleep. Actors are better than softspoken people at night. Yes, adults like arts and crafts, too. We did an Advent calendar one year. It went over very well.
Ask the people what they want.
Well I am off to the All Saints Vigil with the Black Hoods. We chant the litany of the Saints.
"Holy Seligmann, pray for us."
