I am teaching tonight Revelation. There is a Deacon in my class. Why - I don't know. He knows more than I do. I already told him to take over next Monday. This will give me a break. Have to prepare myself for James for tomorrow morning as well.
There is an interesting connection that I found. Rev 6:6------but do not harm oil and wine!
and todays Gospel of Luke 10:34-------and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine.
The implements of healing are not to be destroyed. Mercy is a supreme act of love that based on justice we do not deserve. It is not to be taken away or destroyed under any circumstances.
