My buttermilk fried chicken
I saw this easy recipe on YouTube for buttermilk fried chicken. Was it easy? Yes, for me it was. Anytime I don't have to have a drop of Woobeme sauce or a pinch of Gerbilsavory that comes from some Oriental store which is 60 miles away it is easy. Buttermilk I can buy in my local store. Simple herbs I have always in my kitchen. So the chicken marinated in the buttermilk sauce overnight and after drenching it in seasoned flower I deep fried it. Great taste but it did not come out as crunchy as I thought it would. Could be that the oil does not get hot enough like on a professional stove. So I would not repeat it for company but for home consumption it tasted great. Obviously I did not just fry 2 pieces for myself but bought a family pack. The family which gallantly ate the rest of my chicken was the nun. The cat did not like my chicken. My next encounter? Meatloaf
