I am still amused at all the rules that I run into at our temple. This morning I asked St. Cannoli if I could get the white flower vase that is under the alter once all the flowers have run their course of being presentable. The vase made from plastic but is very nice and I would like to refill it. She told me that I had to leave a message for the flower people in the sacristy. "We are not supposed to touch anything." I guess I will do that.

Can one refill the flower vase under the altar? What is the proper protocol?
Of course with Advent coming up, this might get complicated. A green pine branch with a single straw star as one sees it done in the Old Country? I shall wait for all the heavenly instructions.....
