The car had a routine medical appointment. So I went to the car wash first. You would not go to the doctor unwashed - would you?
Two hours later I got the car back. It needed a PCV or PVC valve - whatever that is. Thirty-eight bucks. About eight bucks for the part and the rest labor. My car friend in Canada would groan.
