I went to a funeral today. Another person went south. It is the season for it. I did not get home until close to 3 p.m. This was however one of the nicest funerals I have attended. First of all the present pastor and the previous pastor were not there. The previous-previous pastor officiated with the current deacon. So all was well with me. The pastor did a lovely eulogy and one son spoke. The couple had ten children and 33 grandchildren sang on the altar at the end. Full sit down luncheon at a close by golf course and open bar!
Wrote some more cards tonight. The overseas letters have to go out.....
