I won't eat another bite for three days

That is what we all said yesterday and this morning after bringing Holy Communion to a friend, I ended up at the Diner for a late breakfast. By myself. It was packed. Yesterday three women got together who not only were born in three different countries but on three different continents. Two of us are Catholic and the third one is something undefined. The Australian always hosts the Christmas dinner. There were so many dishes that we totally forgot to sample one. Sampling we did. The two dogs circled us and begged with their eyes. When a crab ball hors d'oeuvres fell off the toothpick it turned out the pooches did not like crab meat. Silly dogs! The other two drank red wine and I had my Diet Coke. Did not want to get another headache. It was so funny to see them get silly. I took home a leftover packet for today with delicious ham.
