Visiting Sams and thinking of Christmas
I went to Sams today. I needed three things. THREE. I needed coffee and tea for a homeless project in my church and I needed Q-tips for the dogs. Yes, they get dirty ears. I came out of Sams with a shopping cart full of things. Tuna fish, a large pack of macaroni, a large container of snacks. I did not need the snacks. I needed the container to make a homemade lava lamp, well, better than making homemade firecrackers. I got oil - for the lava lamp. I got dried cherries. I like cherries. I tried them once I got home. Too sweet. They obviously added sugar. More Christmas cards. They will be useful. I am just writing mine now. "No net hudla!" Chlorox wipes. They are for the dogs, too. Cleans up any messes nicely. The rest I don't even remember. The other day I found a Christmas present for someone that was unique and he already got a Christmas present - so this will be a lay away in the closet for next year. I think sometimes when the designers of goofy stuff get together, they have me in mind. "Think of Lara!" She will buy this stuff. I just printed out 20 more of my Christmas letters. Back to writing......
