The Crush e-mailed me and claimed he had total recall. Then he wanted to know if there was any significance to my suggesting to him he should write a novel "Swans in November." I wrote him back that I had suggested to him "Swans in Winter." So much for total recall......
But the biggie was that the Crush lives with a significant other and was not ready to tell her that his teenage love had re-entered his life. That confused me. The Rabbi helped out. The word I needed was "duplicity." So I just e-mailed him that not telling his significant other was a deal breaker. Either he comes clean with her or our e-mailing each other must cease. He ain't going to be happy but I felt he jilted me 50 years ago so I can let go of him now. It was fun while it lasted. My heart fluttered for three days......four days?
