Was very nice tonight. I won something for the son which made me happy. One of my pictures that I donated fetched $100. That made me happy, too. The guest speaker was very good.
I had signed up to bring some fruit to the fundraiser and as I left the house the fruit juice flowed all over my jacket. Took the jacket off and left without. No time to worry about another jacket. It was colder tonight but not freezing cold and I survived. Another woman who has "issues" found me tonight. I must have "she is it" written all over my forehead. I am glad I can serve the Lord this way. Learned this morning that I am not the builder. Learned tonight that everyone needs to be loved, accepted and understood otherwise we are unhappy. On the local level I am, on the regional level I am not. I guess you can't win them all.
