The SO sent me a nice e-mail again and told me that the Crush had studied the Catholic faith diligently. I almost fell of my chair laughing when I read it. Well, he might have studied it but no lessons learned. Apparently for this one historical book he talked to a lot of priests because it is about a priest? Rome? who knows. I ordered the books through Amazon. This one I've got to read. I wrote the SO very nicely that the Crush seems to be a sailor and that leaves me stranded and also that his history is woven around pre-pubescent girls. Having worked and lived in the medical field all my life I run away from these kind of stories. It may be good writing. I don't know. I just don't care for this kind of stuff.
That is what I basically wrote. Well, there is an underlying sensuality that I don't care for either but I did not tell her that. I know my Crush. Having studied the Catholic faith....really! Oh, yes, she said he has one (yes, ONE) Catholic reference book on his shelf. I should write back: Do you want to see several hundreds?
