Three more books - a different turn

I received three more books by the SO that the Crush wrote. These books represent a trilogy about Pea Island. I met a descendant of Herbert who served on Pea Island through one of my friends up here. Herbert's son married the sister of this friend. It is a small world indeed. See my previous blog about Herbert and Pea Island. Of course the Crush wrote his historical novel around a pre-pubescent girl. The SO also wrote that the Crush was always "interested in slavery." I had to laugh. She got that right. And he is interested in slavery in more ways than one. I don't think the Crush has told her that I called it quits and I certainly won't tell his SO anything. So I am still e-mailing with the SO who is delightful and the Crush is out in the cold. Serves him right!
