Va-Va

After speaking to the Holy One (through the Rabbi) I treated myself to a large cup of coffee at the Va-Va and also picked up one of their delicious salads for tonight. No males at the check-out. Had to pay an extra 20 cents for the second package of dressing! This is something for psychiatrists and psychologists: Why do the males at Va-Va let you have two packets free when you buy a salad but he females don't?
Went to see my friend in the rehab. I was delighted because her communication has improved so that we could have a little back and forth conversation and her personality is also coming back. Not totally, but it is no longer the flat, almost dead expression it was right after the major stroke. I came home and called her mother and told her. Been e-mailing my son in China to figure out where he is going to be day by day. At this point, we sort of have a whole week together (Monday through Friday) where he possibly could celebrate morning Mass. I need final confirmation from the son and then I will present it to the Rabbi.
