My dyslexia kicked in this morning and I heard myself singing:" I once was toast." Well, toast or lost comes out to the same thing.
This is a song one can belt out which is nice. Even if you were stone drunk you could still belt it out. There is a German word for this: groelen. There are a few songs one can sing any time, sober or not. "Grosser Gott wir loben Dich," is another one. No, Freude, Freude does not qualify.
