I started reading the Crush's novel about the Bermuda triangle. No, sorry, it is a trilogy about Pea Island. I finished one book. Two more to go. He's got a clever mind and I can see why I would have madly fallen in love with him at age 17. Of course now I look at it with the detachment of fifty years in between and it is sad that the reunion was such a bust. His books seem to sell - if you read this kind of stuff - but as a human being he is the same smart, sensual guy from way back when which now comes across as the proverbial "dirty old man."
Amazon sent me his one Catholic book yesterday. I just looked at the first several pages. One of the major events is a priest struggling with lust. So typical Crush. Apparently he consulted with several priests on that one. (I wonder what in the....they thought!) The SO told me so. He may have gotten the external details but not the interior message.
