Dear Mr. Romney

This is an e-mail I received from a friend who is now poor. The people who have a safety net - according to you. Her mother is in the hospital at the present. She is the sole caregiver and now is getting a "break" and feels guilty about it. To e-mail me from an ancient computer she has to run around to find a good free connection. She is also trying to get glasses for herself. This so called safety net has more holes than Swiss cheese. Yet with all the pain, she is still faithful and she shares a blessing! What an inspiration

I have been having problems logging on here at the hospital and I cannot keep driving over to the McDonalds.........the french fries are not in my budget!!!!!! All is good over here, I dont know why I was so excited to leave my mom here for five days, I just come over here all day instead of doing work at home!!!! I'm just never satisfied am I? Finally got over to check on my "not so free, free clinic" for my glasses, It will take about 30 days to hear back on my application and if there is still funding available and 'I am approved" I might get some money for glasses! What a pain in the you know where!

I dont know if I mentioned that our bishop passed away two years ago. Well, we finally got a new one, he came from San Antonio Texas. I would love to go there some day! Anyway, we had the installation Mass last night and It was just beautiful! Early yesterday morning they had a special Mass for only priests. They came from everywhere, there were so many priests, I have never felt so protected. They processed in to the cathedral (it took an hour) and then the two last ones closed the doors. Then the bishop arrived in the carrier with the little umbrella and they walked up to the doors of the cathedral and he started pounding on the doors and speaking something in Latin! Then the chanting began and the doors opened slowly and the organ started and all the priests began to sing, it was magnificent! When the Bishop got to the altar he chanted something and the doors were closed slowly. And we all left:-( But the Mass for us was last night and it was really beautiful too! I gave my bishop blessing to you, do you feel any different??? I do:-)

How is xxxx doing? You never told me about xxxx, is everything okay? Love you very much, God Bless and keep you,
